So I’m doing a personal essay for one of my classes (writing the zeitgeist) at uni, and have decided to do it on the uprising and power of the “fandom”. Seeing as I am involved in many myself, and have various examples right at my fingertips, I thought it would be pretty simple.
So basically, if anyone reading this can be bothered, just reply or message me what fandom you’re in/why you like being in that fandom/what it means to you/your OTP, etc. This doesn’t just have to be: I like being in the Sherlock fandom because Benedict Cumberbatch is a babe and I want him to kiss Martin Freeman’s face (because lbh, that’s a pretty big reason). It can be things like: The Sherlock fandom is filled with fans just as loony as me, and we have fun, and I’ve made friends, and it’s homely…or something.
Anyway, it can be as long, or as basic as you like. Anything will help. And please try spread this around. ALL FANDOMS INCLUDED.
ANY HELP WILL BE MUCHLY APPRECIATED, I’LL FOLLOW YOU (IF YOUR BLOG ISN’T COMPLETELY AWFUL), I’LL CREDIT YOU IN MY ESSAY. AND I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER.
Message me or just reply to this post : )
I don’t think the bike hitting John was organised, I think it was a genuine accident.
I don’t think Sherlock asked John to “keep watching him” to prove that he died or anything like that.
I think Sherlock asked John to keep watching him, so that John could see the trick which would keep Sherlock alive, but when the cyclist hit John, it stopped him from seeing a vital clue into how Sherlock was still alive.
Sherlock didn’t want John to see him die, he wanted him to see him survive.
